Styling Black Kurti
Launching #curvyfashion series on my blog, so I had to feature my favorite black kurti in my first post.
Plain black kurti is a wardrobe essential and every curvy girl must own one! They look very elegant, simple and yet very stylish. I love wearing Indian clothes especially Kurtis, as the hide all my extra pounds here and there and flatters my body shape. I wear my black kurti on the days when, I want to wear something comfy and look stylish. A plain black kurta can be styled in number of ways like team with a pair of washed out blue denims, churidars, pants or palazzos.
For this post, I am styling my black kurta with black ankle length pencil pants with minimal silver jewelry.
I have styled this black kurti along with a pair of ankle length pencil pants and with floral print dupatta. This beautiful floral dupatta adds all the color and glam to this outfit also it binds all the elements of this look. I move a lot and can’t sit at one place so, I have pinned my dupatta on my shoulders, so that it doesn’t move or displace. I believe accessories play a very important role in this look, wear silver jhumkis, silver bangles/karha and a ring to give an ethnic touch. Lastly wear your favorite kolhapuri’s or jutti’s (see DIY here) . This beautiful and effortless outfit can be easily worn to work and college.
