ft. AuthIndia

Hola Guys! So as promised, I am back with another #CurvyFashionSeries post. You guys really seem to love these types of posts and I love creating them for you. So today it’s all about Chikankari.

Chikankari embroidery work are one of my favorite handworks. The intricate needleworks, paisley designs and beautiful colors always makes me to get some more. I am a big fan of chikankari suits and kurtis and I strongly believe that, they are the most royal and elegant hand embroideries one can wear. One of the best thing about chikankari design is that they can be worn at any occasion and at any time of the day.

Recently, I spotted this beautiful Black Chikankari Kurti on AuthIndia and I fell in love with it. The design of this chikankari kurti is very unique and is something which I couldn’t find in most of the Delhi Markets. I always wanted to have something similar to this black kurti as these are very versatile and can be worn easily without putting too much efforts.

Today in this post, I will be sharing How to Style Black Chikankari Kurti in two ways. I really hope this post helps you and gives you inspiration to style it in a better way.

Styling Black Chikankari Kurti in Two Ways

Perfect Movie Day with Friends

For this look, I have paired my favorite Black Chikankari kurti with my Denims. I have folded my denims from the ends which gives a casual overall look. The combination of black and blue washed out denims looks classic and perfect for any casual occasion. This outfit is perfect for college or movies as it looks very stylish and bohemian. To accessorise I have added my chunky black pearl earrings and my favourite DIY kohlapuri chappals.

Keep’in it Simple

For this Second look, I have paired the same Black Chikankari kurti with cutout pants. These cut-out pants look very casual and classy. These pants has cutout details at the end which are complimenting the entire look. I am also wearing same earrings and Kohla Puri chappals along with it. This Simple black on Black combination is great for office wear. This outfit is super comfortable and perfect for hot Delhi weather as bottoms are really loose and breezy.

So, these were the two looks which totally represent my style. One thing I want to mention to you guys is that this kurti from is made up of pure georgette. Unlike any other Chikankari kurtis, this kurti has fine and clean embroidery.  I hate when my cloth is unfinished and has threads hanging all over. But I am totally satisfied with the quality of material used in it. I highly recommend you guys to go check them if you love kurtis like me.

So, that’s was it for this post guys! I really hope you all liked it and got some inspiration to style your chikankari kurti next time.  Please leave you requests for #curvyfashionseries if you have any! Join me on my social media to check out some more pictures from my chikankari collection.
